Hydraulic Structures Medal

About this program

The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) offers the Hydraulic Structures Medal annually to recognize significant contributions to the advancement of hydraulic engineering as applied to hydraulic structures. The award includes a gold-plated medal and an honorarium, and may recognize research, publications, innovative applications, individual achievements, or distinguished professional service. Nominees may be from any Society membership status and should demonstrate broadly applicable contributions supported by complete, clearly presented, and, where relevant, physically validated work. Nominations are due October 1 and must include a signed cover letter, the nominee’s CV or biography, and two or three recommendation letters.
