About this program
The International Association for Dental Research (IADR) Distinguished Scientist Awards recognize members who have made outstanding research contributions across numerous oral health and dental science disciplines. Awardees receive a $3,500 prize and commemorative plaque, with recognition at the IADR General Session and Exhibition; nominations are open July 13–September 1, 2026. Any IADR member may nominate a candidate, and self-nominations are accepted, but nominees must be current IADR members and may not be posthumous, current IADR Board members, or subcommittee members ineligible for the same award. Online nominations must include a two-page nomination statement and a curriculum vitae of no more than 10 pages.
