The IEEE Computer Society’s Charles Babbage Award recognizes outstanding, innovative contributions in the field of parallel computation across algorithms, theory, technologies and applications; the single recipient receives a certificate, a US$1,000 honorarium, and an invitation to present at the IEEE IPDPS conference. Eligible candidates must have made significant technical contributions to parallel computation; contributions to the community through teaching, mentoring, or service are encouraged but not required. Nominations must name one candidate, include a minimum of three endorsements, follow the nomination questions, and be submitted by 1 September 2026 (11:59 PM EDT).
