About this program
The IEEE Photonics Society Young Investigator Award recognizes an individual’s outstanding technical contributions to photonics made before age 35 and provides a certificate and honorarium. Nominations are accepted annually from July 1 through September 30. Nominees must be 35 or younger on September 30 of the nomination year; IEEE or Photonics Society membership is not required, but self-nominations are prohibited. Submissions must include the nominee’s contact information, contribution statement, 20-word citation, three-page CV, and three one-page endorsement letters.
