Impact Catalyst Program

About this program

The Massachusetts Life Sciences Center (MLSC) Impact Catalyst program provides early-stage funding to high-risk, high-impact life sciences innovations that have difficulty attracting private investment, aiming to advance commercialization and strengthen the Commonwealth’s life sciences ecosystem. Awards focus on startups and research teams developing novel therapeutics, diagnostics, delivery systems, platforms, or other solutions that address significant unmet public health needs. Eligible applicants are typically early-stage ventures or investigator-led teams with limited private funding traction; projects with a Massachusetts presence or clear benefit to the state’s life sciences ecosystem are prioritized.
