About this program

The American Chemical Society (ACS) offers the CCS High School Chemical Safety Grant to support middle and high school science educators in promoting chemical safety excellence in their classrooms. This grant provides up to $3,000 for initiatives such as integrating safety into curricula, advocating for safe practices, or improving safety infrastructure. Eligible applicants are science educators who use or manage chemicals in U.S. or U.S. territory schools, with individuals or small teams (up to four) encouraged to apply. Applications are accepted annually from April 1 to August 15.
