About this program
The Indiana Academy of Science, in partnership with the Indiana Land Protection Alliance and Indiana Native Plant Society, offers small grants for qualified biological inventory projects on protected lands. Funding supports taxonomic specialists in collecting scientific data to inform land acquisition, conservation management, and long-term monitoring. Applicants must submit project proposals to the Academy’s Biodiversity and Natural Areas Committee by September 15 or March 15, following instructions on the Protect Indiana Land website.
