Cleveland Clinic Research Program Committees (RPC) invite resubmissions for internal competitive pilot/focused funding to support clinical and translational projects that generate abstracts, publications, or pilot data to enable external funding; maximum award $25,000 (RPC funds up to $12,500 with required departmental match up to $12,500). Priority areas include clinical–basic science collaborations, early-career assistant professors seeking one-year pilot data, senior investigators changing focus, and projects using the Clinical Research Unit; proposals must state a clear hypothesis, realistic timeline, efficient resource use, and a plan to pursue external funding. Eligible PIs must hold a primary or secondary appointment in a Cleveland Clinic Clinical Department (physicians, PhDs, dentists, psychologists; other licensed clinical professionals may be eligible with institute approval); trainees, volunteers, and visiting personnel may not serve as PI but may be Co-Investigators.
