About this program

Offered by the Education Institute, the Bruce Hubbard Stewart Award (2025–2026) recognizes Cleveland Clinic house staff and professional staff who combine scientific skill with compassion and sensitivity in patient care, honoring clinicians who demonstrate respect, professionalism, clear communication, availability, and cooperative teamwork; recipients receive a celebratory plaque and $1,000. Nominations should document demonstrated compassion, respect for patient rights, sensitivity to the impact of illness on patients’ physical, emotional, social, and spiritual lives, and collegial professional behavior. Eligible applicants are Cleveland Clinic professional staff and house staff; internal nominations require a Nomination Letter plus 2–3 Letters of Support, are limited to one submission per nominee, and must be submitted by March 1, 2026.
