International Coastal Engineering Award

About this program

The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) offers the International Coastal Engineering Award to recognize outstanding leadership and significant contributions to coastal engineering through design, teaching, professional leadership, construction, research, planning, or related work. The recipient receives a plaque and an honorarium established annually by ASCE’s Executive Committee. Nominees may be individuals from the international coastal engineering community regardless of nationality or ASCE membership, and may not have received the award previously. Nominations are due November 1 and must include a signed cover letter, the nominee’s CV or biographical information, and two or three recommendation letters.
