About this program
The American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE) offers the International Food Engineering Award to honor professionals worldwide for significant contributions to food engineering research, process development, design, leadership, management, or education. The award includes a US$1,000 cash prize, up to US$1,400 in travel reimbursement to attend the ASABE Annual International Meeting, and a plaque. Nominees need not be ASABE members and are evaluated based on the significance and impact of their contributions to food engineering and the food industry. Nominations must include the required materials and be submitted through the ASABE awards website by October 31 annually.
