About this program

The Internet Society Foundation offers sponsorships of up to $7,500 for national, $15,000 for sub-regional and regional schools, and $25,000 for recognized regional IGFs to support UN IGF Secretariat-recognized National and Regional Initiatives, Youth initiatives, and Schools on Internet Governance. Funding may cover event organization, venues, outreach, participation, and accessibility-related costs, but not equipment or individual travel to global or regional IGF events. Eligible applicants are registered nonprofit organizations, with preference generally given to Internet Society Chapters, and must meet detailed public transparency, recognition, planning, and website requirements. Applications must be submitted through Fluxx by October 1, 2026, at least 8–10 weeks before the event, with applicants registering at least 24 hours in advance.
