ISN Career Development Grant (CDG)

About this program

The International Society for Neurochemistry (ISN) Career Development Grant provided up to USD 10,000 for one- or two-year research projects, supporting supplies, small equipment, facility access, animal housing, and limited participation in ISN-related meetings. The scheme was intended to help young investigators establish independent research programs, but it was discontinued in 2025 and replaced by the ISN Career Support Grant. Historically, applicants had to be advanced ISN postdoctoral members with at least three years of postdoctoral experience or Full Members within 10 years of receiving their doctorate, and must have maintained continuous ISN membership for at least four years. Applicants also needed departmental confirmation of their independence or potential for independence and institutional agreement that no indirect costs would be charged.
