About this program
The International Society of Nephrology (ISN) and The Transplantation Society (TTS) jointly offer the Sister Transplant Centers program to establish and strengthen kidney transplant services in low-resource settings through partnerships, training, and structured funding for up to six years. Partnerships link experienced Supporting Centers with developing Emerging Centers and may progress through three levels of support. Emerging Centers must be located in a World Bank–classified low-, lower-middle-, or upper-middle-income country, and each participating center must include at least one ISN or TTS full member. Applications must meet the program guidelines and be submitted by October 15.
