About this program
The International Union of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (IUBMB) offers Wood-Whelan Research Fellowships to support short-term research and training for trainee and early-career biochemists in laboratories other than their own. Applicants must be conducting biochemistry or molecular biology research and arrange training at a host laboratory outside their home institution. Applications are due March 15 for travel beginning July–December and September 15 for travel beginning January–June; retrospective applications are not accepted.
