About this program
The American Society of Civil Engineers’ Engineering Mechanics Institute and Structural Engineering Institute offer the Jack E. Cermak Medal to honor outstanding cumulative contributions—or, exceptionally, a single contribution of exceptional merit—in wind engineering and industrial aerodynamics. The award includes a gold-plated medal and an invitation to deliver the Jack E. Cermak Lecture at an ASCE national event. Nominees may be from any nationality and need not be ASCE members, but individuals may receive the medal only once. Nominations are due November 1 and must include a signed cover letter, the nominee’s CV or biographical information, and two or three recommendation letters.
