Jack Kimmel International Grant Program – TREE Fund

About this program

The TREE Fund, with participation from the Canadian TREE Fund, offers Jack Kimmel International Grants to support arboriculture and urban forestry research conducted primarily outside the United States. Projects must generally be completed within one to two years, with awards of up to $10,000. Eligible applicants must submit a Letter of Intent identifying the principal investigator and contracting institution by September 1, 2026; only approved LOIs may proceed to a full application due October 15, 2026. The program does not fund individuals, tree planting, municipal tree surveys, traditional forestry or conservation studies, or product testing primarily benefiting a manufacturer.
