John A. Moore Lectureship

About this program

The Society for Integrative and Comparative Biology (SICB) Educational Council offers the John A. Moore Lectureship to honor a nationally recognized speaker who brings a new perspective on science education to the SICB annual meeting. The selected lecturer delivers a one-hour presentation on the final day of the conference, with possible funding to support meeting attendance. Nomination materials must include the candidate’s current CV, a one-page summary of contributions to science education, supporting materials, and up to three recommendation letters, including at least one from the nominator. Nominations are due September 10, and candidates may remain under consideration for up to three years.
