Junior Professional Researcher Program

About this program

The Institute for Social Research’s Junior Professional Researcher Program provides recent college graduates with a paid, two-year, full-time research associate position in a multidisciplinary social science research environment. Participants receive faculty mentorship, research experience, professional development, and training opportunities while preparing for careers or further education in the social sciences. Applicants must have graduated within the past two class years, must not hold a master’s degree, and must submit a resume and cover letter during the annual January 1–February 1 application period. The in-person program requires U.S. work authorization without current or future visa sponsorship.
