Jurassic Foundation Grant Application

About this program

The Jurassic Foundation offers grants of up to $3,000 for paleontological research, including fieldwork, travel, materials, wages, and support services. Applicants must submit a cover page, proposal body of no more than five pages, itemized one-page budget, CV, and supporting documents through the online system or by email. Proposals should clearly present the research background, questions, significance, methods, and timeline; institutional overhead, applicant salaries and benefits, and conference expenses are not eligible. Applications are due September 15 or February 15, with required permits and applicable ethical or animal-care approvals provided before funding is issued.
