Kellogg/Kroc Undergraduate Research Grants (Notre Dame)

About this program

The Kellogg Institute for International Studies and the Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies at the University of Notre Dame offer summer undergraduate research grants—typically up to $6,000 (increase possible in exceptional cases)—to support student research with a clear international dimension aligned with the institutes’ thematic priorities, to be conducted abroad or, when demonstrably appropriate, in the United States. Grants are intended primarily for Notre Dame undergraduates, especially juniors, whose proposals engage the Kellogg or Kroc thematic areas. Applicants must notify the institute of any other funding (duplicate support may reduce awards), attend required orientations in full (failure to do so will cancel the award), and are strongly advised to meet with the Associate Director at least one month before the deadline and to attend a grant‑writing workshop.
