Kentucky Humanities Minigrants

About this program

Kentucky Humanities offers minigrants of up to $2,500 for Kentucky-based public humanities projects serving the general public, including lectures, book discussions, exhibits, conferences, media productions, and teacher training. Projects must incorporate substantial humanities content and active collaboration with a qualified Principal Humanities Scholar. Eligible applicants are registered Kentucky nonprofit organizations, institutions, or groups with active SAM.gov registration and a UEI; individuals, for-profit organizations, political or advocacy groups, and current Kentucky Humanities grantees are ineligible. Awards require a 1:1 cash or in-kind cost share, and final applications are due by the last day of each month at least eight weeks before the proposed award period begins.
