Kentucky Junior Academy of Science

About this program

The Kentucky Academy of Science supports the Kentucky Junior Academy of Science (KJAS), providing free registration for K–12 students and teachers and funding registration, travel, and accommodations for at least six selected high school delegates to attend the American Junior Academy of Science meeting. Middle and high school students conducting independent, mentored, classroom, or team research may participate and present posters or talks at the KJAS annual meeting. High school students seeking delegate consideration must submit a research abstract and deliver an oral presentation; all presenters require a parent/guardian waiver, and oral presenters also need a school consent form.
