About this program

The Virginia Innovation Partnership Corporation (VIPC), in collaboration with Virginia’s six R1 universities, offers Lab-to-Launch to accelerate the commercialization of high-growth university technologies into Virginia-based startups. Support includes a streamlined, fee-free Virginia Fast-Track License, Entrepreneur-in-Residence guidance, investor connections, and potential commercialization funding of up to $50,000. The initiative is intended for university inventors, research innovators, and startups emerging from the University of Virginia, Virginia Tech, Virginia Commonwealth University, George Mason University, Old Dominion University, or William & Mary, subject to program guidelines and terms.
