LAII Event Funding

The Latin American and Iberian Institute (LAII) at the University of New Mexico offers year‑round event funding to support campus lectures, presentations, exhibits, performances, and other events that promote understanding of Latin America and Iberia across disciplines. Funding categories include Faculty, Student, Greenleaf Visiting Library Scholar, and general Event Funding; specific award amounts are not specified. Eligible applicants are members of the UNM campus community; applications received by priority deadlines (September 15 for fall/early‑spring events and February 15 for spring/early‑fall events) are prioritized, and requests must be submitted at least six weeks before the event to allow for review and publicity.
