Le Val Lund Practice Award for Lifeline Risk Reduction

The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) offers the Le Val Lund Practice Award for Lifeline Risk Reduction to recognize an individual who has made significant contributions to reducing risks to lifeline systems and preparing communities for natural and manmade hazards. The award includes a plaque and an honorarium determined annually. Eligible nominees must be ASCE members in good standing, excluding Student Members, and must demonstrate professional conduct, leadership, and an understanding of engineering’s social, economic, and political context. Self-nominations are not accepted; nominations are due November 1 and must include a signed cover letter, CV or biographical information, and two or three recommendation letters.
