About this program
The American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery (ASLMS) offers the Leon Goldman Memorial Award to honor a practicing physician with a distinguished career in clinical laser research, patient care, or education. The recipient receives a plaque and $1,000 at the ASLMS Annual Conference and must deliver a conference lecture; nominations for the 2027 award are due September 1, 2026. Nominees may be ASLMS members or nonmembers and must demonstrate sustained excellence in medical laser applications, honesty, high ethical standards, and dedication to patients.
