About this program
The American Library Association (ALA) offers the annual Lois Ann Gregory-Wood Fellows Program to help mid-career members develop an understanding of ALA governance and engage in Association leadership. One to two fellows receive $2,500 stipends to support attendance at ALA’s Midwinter and Annual Conferences, with mentoring included. Applicants must be ALA members who work in libraries or serve as library trustees or friends and demonstrate an interest in ALA governance. Applications are due October 15, 2026, and require ALA credentials.
