Lynn & Joan Carmichael STFM Recognition Award

About this program

The Society of Teachers of Family Medicine (STFM) offers the Lynn & Joan Carmichael Recognition Award to honor an individual whose leadership has advanced family medicine and strengthened family medicine education at the national level. The recipient receives up to $2,000 in travel support, complimentary registration to the STFM Annual Spring Conference, and a commemorative award. Nominees may be STFM members or nonmembers, but nominations must be submitted by an STFM member and may not come from or target current members of the STFM Nominations Committee. Applications must include a nominator statement, up to three support letters, and the nominee’s curriculum vitae, submitted electronically by September 18 annually.
