Margery and William Barrett Public Service Award

The Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation offers the William J. & Margery S. Barrett Fund for Adams, Cheshire & Savoy Public Service Award to recognize and reward exceptional individuals who have contributed to the well-being of these communities. This annual award, worth $1,000, is given to a nominee who has demonstrated outstanding citizenship through their paid or volunteer work, with the recipient designating a local nonprofit to receive the funds.

Eligible applicants must have a proven track record of community service and a commitment to improving the towns of Adams, Cheshire, or Savoy. Nominees can be self-nominated or nominated by others, including staff or board members of nonprofit organizations, community groups, or public agencies serving these areas.
