Martha Bridge Denckla Award

The Child Neurology Society offers the Martha Bridge Denckla Award to honor a nationally or internationally recognized physician-scientist advancing human-subjects research relevant to children with neurological disorders, particularly neurodevelopmental disabilities. The 2027 awardee will present at the CNS Annual Meeting in Milwaukee and receive an honorarium, waived registration, and travel and hotel reimbursement. Nominees must be child neurologists, neurodevelopmental disabilities physicians, or related pediatric subspecialists conducting leading cognitive neuroscience or related research; CNS membership is not required. Electronic nominations, which do not require letters or a CV, are due October 31, 2026, and nominees may not have received another CNS Legacy Award within the preceding 10 years.
