Phi Kappa Phi is offering the Mary Todd Sabbatical Award, a $50,000 fellowship to support a sabbatical or similar reassignment for the 2027–2028 academic year; the application portal opens Aug 15, 2026, the deadline is Oct 1, 2026, and recipients will be notified by Nov 15, 2026. Applicants must have applied for sabbatical/other leave with their home institution and follow institutional guidelines, must have been initiated into Phi Kappa Phi by Oct 1, 2021, be active members with dues paid as of Oct 1, 2026, and may not be a sitting Phi Kappa Phi board member, divisional vice president, member of the Mary Todd committee, or Society employee. Applications are submitted via the online portal and require a current CV and a letter addressing the significance of the proposed research or scholarly project and its relevance to Phi Kappa Phi’s mission, which will be the basis for selection.
