Medical Student Research Supplement Award

About this program

The Dermatology Foundation’s Medical Student Research Supplement Award provides $5,000 for direct expenses supporting a full-time medical student’s 6–12-week participation in an existing dermatology research project, including salary, travel, and lodging. The project must be led by a current DF career development awardee or a Year 1 award recipient from 2010 or later who is faculty in an ACGME-approved dermatology department. The participating student must be pursuing an MD or DO at an accredited U.S. medical or osteopathic school, be in good standing, and complete the project before graduation; the 2026 spring/summer application deadline is May 1, 2026.
