About this program

The College Art Association (CAA) offers the Michael Aurbach Fellowship for Excellence in Visual Art, providing an annual $7,500 award and registration to the CAA Annual Conference to support visual artists pursuing professional goals. Selection is based solely on the quality of the applicant’s work, and no proposal is required. Applicants must be current CAA members, hold an MFA or equivalent in studio art, and teach studio courses full- or part-time at an American or international university or community college. Applications require 10–15 images from the past five years, an image list, short CV, artist statement of up to 500 words, website information, and two references; the deadline is October 15.
