Mid-Career Project Grants

About this program

Forecast Public Art, with support from the McKnight Foundation, will award five $10,000 Mid-Career Project Grants for new, publicly accessible temporary or permanent artwork anywhere in Minnesota, with projects funded from January 1 through November 30, 2027. Eligible projects may use any artistic discipline and should engage Minnesota communities, with emphasis on expanding access for underrepresented artists and perspectives. Applicants must be Minnesota-based public artists who have actively created and exhibited work for at least 10 years, and the project site must be secured with written approval by the October 18, 2026, deadline; private commissions are ineligible. Applications must include a proposal, community connection and career information, résumé, site permission, budget, and work samples submitted through Submittable.
