Mid-Career Project Grants

About this program

Forecast Public Art, with support from the McKnight Foundation, will award five $10,000 Mid-Career Project Grants for new, publicly accessible temporary or permanent artworks created anywhere in Minnesota during January 1–November 30, 2027. Projects may use any artistic discipline, including performance, storytelling, film, sculpture, dance, and visual art. Applicants must be Minnesota-based public artists with at least 10 years of active artistic practice and an established body of work; private commissions are not eligible. A project site and written permission must be secured by the October 18, 2026, application deadline, with applications submitted through Submittable.
