About this program

Massachusetts Life Sciences Center (MLSC) is offering ARC Awards capital funding to support development of capital assets, data resources, and novel algorithms across healthcare sectors such as imaging, cancer, neuroscience, drug discovery/delivery, and women’s health. Over the past six years MLSC has awarded $47.2M through 65 cross‑sector projects (approximately $750K per project), leveraging nonprofit and industry partnerships and producing substantial follow‑on funding, publications, patents, and workforce training. Eligible applicants are Massachusetts‑based cross‑sector teams (academic/nonprofit organizations partnered with industry) proposing capital, data, or algorithm development projects; the application period opens August 2025, is due November 2025, with award notifications in May 2026 (questions to mlscindustryprograms@masslifesciences.com).
