Moe Family Fund for Statewide and Local Partners (NPPN members)

About this program

The Moe Family Fund for Statewide and Local Partners, administered by the National Trust for Historic Preservation through the National Preservation Partners Network (NPPN), provides grants to dues‑paying NPPN members to strengthen preservation organizations and support projects focused on one primary category—Advocacy, Capacity Building, or Climate Change—with preference for innovative, impactful, replicable projects that leverage additional funding and partnerships. Eligible applicants are current dues‑paying NPPN member organizations (joint projects may designate one organization as fiscal agent); only one grant per organization per round and one grant from this fund every two years will be awarded, and prior National Trust grantees remain eligible if in compliance. Grants require a one‑to‑one match from non‑National Trust sources, may not be used for lobbying or certain ineligible expenses, must conform to the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards and procurement/conflict‑of‑interest rules (consultant approval is required post‑award), and projects must begin within six months of the award.
