About this program
The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) offers the Moisseiff Award to recognize an important paper on structural design, including applied mechanics, theoretical analysis, or improvements to engineering structures. The award includes a bronze medal for the lead author, certificates for coauthors, and an honorarium determined annually. Eligible papers must be authored by members or nonmembers and published in an online ASCE journal between July and June of the preceding award year; papers recognized by another ASCE prize or published by another publisher are ineligible. Nominations are due November 1 and must include a signed cover letter and a copy of the paper submitted through the ASCE nomination form.
