National Glaucoma Research Postdoctoral Fellowship Award

BrightFocus Foundation’s National Glaucoma Research program funds U.S. and international researchers conducting pioneering studies on glaucoma’s causes, prevention, and treatment. FY27 awards include two-year Postdoctoral Fellowships of $125,000 and two-year Standard Awards of $150,000. Postdoctoral Fellowships support postdoctoral researchers and clinician-scientists in the final stages of mentored training, while Standard Awards are intended for researchers with preliminary data; postdoctoral fellows may apply as co-principal investigators. Full proposals open June 25, 2026, and are due September 24, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. EST, with applications from individuals underrepresented in glaucoma research strongly encouraged.
