National Opera Association Poster Presentations

About this program

The National Opera Association (NOA) invites members, prospective members, and friends to submit original research for peer-reviewed poster presentations at its 2027 National Conference, with juried awards recognizing outstanding work. Submissions are open to researchers across opera and musical theatre performance, pedagogy, composition, and production, including a dedicated undergraduate division. Applicants must submit a 250–500-word abstract and 150-word biography electronically by October 15, 2026; undergraduate applicants must also provide an academic reference. Accepted presenters must register for and attend the conference, and proposals may not promote profit-making products or methods.
