The National Scleroderma Foundation supports investigator-directed scleroderma research through annual New Investigator and Established Investigator grants, funding over $1.5M per year; FY27 applications are open with a submission deadline of September 15, 2026. Targeted awards include the Debra Lurvey Memorial Research Grant ($200,000 for an established investigator in scleroderma-related lung disease) and pediatric scleroderma funding of up to $500,000 available to new and established investigators, with four named prizes for top proposals. Eligible applicants are early-career (New) or experienced (Established) investigators proposing high‑quality, scleroderma-focused research and must follow the Foundation’s application instructions and annual grant cycle (which begins in July).
