NCFR Fellow Status

About this program

The National Council on Family Relations (NCFR) offers Fellow status as an honor recognizing living family scholars and professionals whose contributions have had broad, enduring impact on understanding and strengthening families and on NCFR. Recognized contributions may include scholarship, teaching, practice, outreach, policy, research methods, and professional service. Nominees must have at least 10 years of professional experience, five consecutive years of NCFR membership, and a sustained record of exemplary leadership or service to NCFR. Nominations, due September 15, 2026, must be submitted by an NCFR member and include endorsements from two individuals, at least one of whom is an NCFR member.
