About this program
The National Council on Family Relations (NCFR) offers the Student Access Grant to expand participation of students from historically marginalized racial and ethnic communities in Family Science. Awards include NCFR Annual Conference registration, a $500 travel stipend, and a one-year NCFR membership for first-time members. Applicants must self-identify as a Person of Color or member of a historically marginalized racial population, be current students in Family Science or a related field, plan to attend the conference, and follow the NCFR Code of Conduct. Applications are accepted June 1–September 17, 2026, with recipients selected by lottery; students who received comparable grants from 2022–2025 are ineligible.
