Neurobiology and Changing Ecosystems Scialog 2025-2027

About this program

The Research Corporation for Science Advancement (RCSA), with support from philanthropic partners, offers the 2025–2027 Scialog: Neurobiology and Changing Ecosystems program to catalyze interdisciplinary research on how nervous systems respond and adapt to human-caused environmental changes. Selected Fellows develop collaborative, blue-sky projects examining neurobiological responses to pollution, toxins, climate change, and other environmental stressors.

Applicants should be early-career faculty, from their first year in a faculty position through recently post-tenure, with expertise in relevant fields such as neurobiology, ecology, environmental chemistry, toxicology, climate science, or computational modeling. Applications for the 2027 cohort must be submitted by September 1, 2026, for full consideration.
