Neuroscience Course Director Excellence Award

About this program

The American Academy of Neurology (AAN) offers the Neuroscience Course Director Excellence Award to recognize exceptional educational programs for pre-clerkship medical students; the selected course director or co-directors receive an annual certificate of recognition. Eligible nominees must be active AAN members in good standing and current neuroscience course, co-course, associate, or assistant directors who have served in the role for at least one year. Applications require an online submission, nominee CV, and support from faculty or a supervisor and from the department chair, dean, or designee; only one nomination per institution or campus is permitted. Applications are due October 20, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. CT.
