New England Regional Consortium Fellowships at Harvard Library

About this program

Harvard Library participates in the New England Regional Fellowship Consortium, a collaboration of 30 major cultural agencies that awards approximately 24 research fellowships annually to support projects drawing on collections across participating repositories (including Houghton Library, Baker Library, Law School Library—Historical & Special Collections, Schlesinger Library, and Harvard University Archives). Each fellowship provides a $5,000 stipend for a minimum eight-week research residency at one or more participating institutions. Awards are open to U.S. citizens and foreign nationals who hold the necessary U.S. government documents (e.g., visas or work authorization); applicants should propose projects that use resources from multiple consortium agencies and apply through the NERFC website.
