NFL Foundation Player Matching Grants

About this program

The NFL Foundation offers Player Matching Grants of up to $5,000 to nonprofit organizations, schools, and youth football organizations on behalf of current NFL players or vested NFL Legends who support them financially. Grants fund community support, social justice, and youth/high school football programs, with a 1:1 applicant match required for standard matching grants. Eligible programs may not support political or religious organizations; vested former players coaching as head coaches or full-time assistants may qualify for up to $5,000 in non-match funding. Applications are due September 30, 2026, and each player or Legend may support up to two different organizations annually.
