About this program
The American Chemical Society (ACS) GCI Pharmaceutical Roundtable offers the Peter J. Dunn Award to honor outstanding contributions in green chemistry and engineering within the pharmaceutical industry, focusing on innovative processes and technologies for APIs or intermediates. The award, established in 2016, provides up to $5,000 and reimbursements for conference attendance, with the 2025 award presented at the Green Chemistry & Engineering Conference. Eligibility is open to faculty, industry professionals, and teams (up to 10 members) demonstrating new, meaningful-scale accomplishments in green chemistry, excluding previous EPA Green Chemistry Challenge Award winners. Submissions must detail significant improvements in yield, waste reduction, environmental impact, and toxic chemical reduction by December 1, 2024.
