NPRB Outreach Program

About this program

The North Pacific Research Board (NPRB) Outreach Program funds communication, education, stakeholder engagement, and outreach initiatives that share results from NPRB-supported marine research. Up to $25,000 is available per project, from an annual program pool of $150,000, with awards supporting Core-funded projects and their designated outreach entities. Eligibility is limited to federal, state, tribal, private, or foreign institutions receiving Core Program funding, or their designated outreach organizations. Proposals are submitted through an annual spring RFP within 90 days of Core-funding notification and must include creative, audience-appropriate activities, assessment metrics, and strong community or stakeholder connections.
